So, a couple of days before I was going to leave, I was trying to get a hold of the Travel Group and FIJI airlines. I wanted to make a few changes. I could not get through. There were weird phone problems, and redirects and all kinds of weirdness. When I finally do get through, I am put in an extended wait list, as traffic volume is extremely high due to Weather Issues.
A quick search brings up this...... A cyclone whacked the island, and all flights are cancelled for 48 hours, and there is much damage, injuries and some loss of life.
Should be an interesting trip.
